In the US, June 14 is the day for the Flag Day celebration. It memorializes the creation of the US flag on June 14, 1777, by the decision of the Second Continental Congress. In the Ennerdale town, Pennsylvania, June 14, 1937, the day for the first time celebrated as a state holiday. In the same fashion, NY regulation elects the 2nd Sunday in June as Flag Day, regard a state holiday.
