Harley Quinn, aka Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel, is a character from DC Universes. She was created for the supervillain role along with Joker, her beloved in the Batman animated series, in the 22nd episode in 1992. At the start, the creator Paul Dini and Bruce Timm only want her appearance for one episode as Joker’s assistant. But Harley then became a returned character throughout DC Animated Universe. Later, she attends the DC Batman comic book series, starts with the 1999 one-shot Batman: Harley Quinn #1.

Within the DC universe, Haley Quinn is frequent complicity and ladylove of Joker. She also has Poison Ivy, a fellow supervillain as her close friend. Ivy and Joker were both her patients at the time she worked at Gotham City’s Arkham Asylum for an internship. By her side, Harley also got Catwoman, along with Poison Ivy, teaming up as Gotham City Sirens.

After the DC comics line relaunching with The New 52, has always represented Harley Quinn as a criminal against the superhero. She is also an active member of the Suicide Squad, got away from her attached relationship with Joker, now has Poison Ivy as her lover.
