Pink Floyd is an England progressive rock band, they achieved major recognition in the combination of space rock and progressive rock style. The band is known for its meaningful melodies, musical discovery, creative performance albums, and amazing live shows. They are one of the most successful rock bands globally with 200 million albums sold, and 74.5 million sold in the US only.

Historically, the foundation of the band started with Syd Barrett, Nick Mason, Roger Waters, and Richard Wright. With the talented leadership of Barrett, they got their first success launching two singles and an album. David Gilmour joined the band in December 1967, their fifth member. Then in April 1968, Barrett left the band because of his health. After that, Waters handle Barrett’s position as the main composer until he left in 1985.

During their golden era, Pink Floyd has received an enormously positive audience fanbase. They have been recognized as one of the most famous London rock bands in the late 60s.

In the next decades, the band has continued their path recording many albums and achieving more and more success. For instance, The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), Wish You Were Here (1975), Animals (1977), and The Wall (1979).

Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, Wright left Pink Floyd in 1979 which is followed by Waters in 1985. The remaining members continue to produce 2 more music albums and achieve new success with A Momentary Lapse of Reason (1987) và The Division Bell (1994). Waters later came back and sang with the band in June 2005 at London Live 8 concert.
