Sabaton is a heavy metal rock band from Falun, Sweden. Their songs mostly portrayed historical events, wars, and heroism.

Sabaton was founded in December 1999. After their first songs were recorded in The Abyss, Peter Tägtgren’s studio, many record labels reached out. Later on, in their career, Sabaton was featured with Underground Symphony from Italy, and release advertise CD Fist for Fight. Demo record from 1999 to 2000 compressed in order to advertise the new releases. In 2002, the band recorded a new album, Metalizer, which was then published by Underground as their first album. After 2 years of waiting, Sabaton held many performances across Sweden, leaving the album unfinished.

Until now, Sabaton has published various albums which have won millions of fans’ hearts worldwide. Those albums include Primo Victoria (2005), Attero Dominatus (2006), Metalizer (2007), The Art of War (2008), Coat of Arms (2010), Carolus Rex (2012), Heroes (2014), The Last Stand (2016), The Great War (2019). Thanks to the popularization and wide-known of the albums, the band has achieved multiple awards. Among those albums, The Great War, their latest published song has reached No.1 among music charts in Germany and Sweden.
